Today, I learn about many teaching approach such as pronunciation teaching, culture teaching, communicative language teaching and teaching English using ICT. This all approach has many process for teaching and is very important to apply into teach in the classroom or out room. Teacher give some advice for student in the class.
Teaching approach in English is
important for teacher into teaching. For example pronunciation teaching. It is important of oral. It make the
students to understand about flow of speech. It
is psychological factors that affect the leaning of pronunciation. A
teacher can help student to step over
psychological barrier and other challenges by thinking of the goal of
pronunciation teaching and helping them to learn the component of spoken English so that they
can understand .
Culture Teaching. It is teaching about
different culture of each countries such as greeting, food, dressing,
tradition. This method, teacher could choose to talk the history or religion of
a foreign people. These culture talk could be part of their subject teaching or
some special topics for foreign culture
teaching. Experiencing culture though
language use. Student then act out in a culturally authentic fashion , a common method used in language teaching
.This approach is possible, when the teachers involved are well informed and
alert to cultural differences and thus, their students absorb the meaning in
many small ways. Activities within culture
such as song and dances, pictures, films, bulletin board, inviting native
speakers.Next,
Teaching English Using
ICT.The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching and
learning process becomes a trend in today’s education process. It is because
the use of ICT is belied to bring benefits for both the student and the
teacher.Technologies can be use in the lesson, such as video teleconferencing,
social networking sites,email and other forms of technology including
blogs,wikis, IPod,tape.Telecommucations, they canmaintain electronic
conversations with native speaker or the learner through e-mail and chat room. they
can also join a distance education program to improve their knowledge, or learn
a new language. The advantages of using ICT, to cultivate students’ interest in
study, to promote ,to widen students’ knowledge to gain an insightful understanding
to western culture, to improve teaching effect.The last one, the problem
of using ICT it has excessive use of the online dictionary,some student have
problem in reading text on the computer screen. The school should have
sufficient facilities and human resources.
Communicative Language Teaching. This approach focus on by
co-operative leaning. It has process of this teaching 1. Warm up 2.presentation
3.practice 4. Production 5. Wrap up. The
role of students is applicant to counsel. By the teacher set activity to
students into work together.This approach focus on the learner to help together.
The role of teacher is to teach. It has 3
role for teacher 1.organizer, facilitator 2.guid 3.resercher, learner.The
role of Instruction media.This is important to teach follow CLT that is text-based material, authentic
material, task-based material.
To conclude, Teaching methods are important tools for teaching. Teaching time you must to have primary for teaching and you must to understand of teaching approach.I think that is very important for me in the future.Now I'm very confused for this.It has many approach.However, all the
teaching methods can help me about to teach in the future and help a teacher into professional teacher.When my friend to present some topic or some approach, I think that is them not understand.
Advice of teacher.
Observing the instruction. When you observe some
school you need to tape or the instruction of teachers and students. After that
you need to analyze and comment for teaching such as the students has participate
or not, how the relationship between
teachers and students, teacher use English language or not, what teacher use approach
into classroom, teacher teach culture and pronunciation or not etc. The last one, present in front of classroom.
